Mind you, what you say will affect if I'm going to introduce more humans, as heavily hinted in the last chapter if you had missed it.

So, the Question is, more humans, introduced into the very fabric of the story(they actually have a place in the story line other than "Oh, we are here") or should I nix this idea and not have humans?

I say go ahead. Just be careful, the more humans you add the more it takes the focus away from your main character.
