Writing is hard, especially for Twilight Sparkle's notes.

I've been writing the latest chapter of "the tale of josh the upright elongated gorilla" for the past month now and all I can say is: damn this is hard.
I am switching up the format a bit to a collection of diaries from different characters, by far Twilight's diary is the most challenging not because of my lack of technical skill, but balancing her character well between all of her attributes is hard. I want to write Twilight the scientist, as well as Twilight the student, and Twilight the element of magic. Josh's Diary is easier because I am writing from his flawed perspective which is completely different from Twilight's, and a certain background pony's diary is proving by far to be the most fun to write, I'm up to like 8 pages of solid text, but there is so much still to be done, especially regarding twilight's entries. I am shooting to cover a week of entries which means 20 different entries for all the characters, oh boy I'll be happy if I actually manage to finish this in a timely manner.
