DBPZ Just about Ready & My Usual Update! · 3:04am Jan 18th, 2013
Hello everyone! Well I just finished the next episode of "Dragon Ball Pony Z". Now, I need to edit it and then I can post it. Hopefully tomorrow night. It didn't take nearly as long as some of my story updates do, but then I've been both mentally and physically outlining this for a few months, now. And after reading over some of my early chapters of this story, and looking at what I have now, I can really see how my skills as a writer are improving. In fact in three nights time I managed to crank out nearly 6,700 words, adding to what I already had. This has now become my longest episode of the series at 7,591 words! I know compared with most of my normal stories and chapter updates, this is quite short, but still, I had fun working on this. I even got to write a fun battle where Celestia and Luna take on a powerful warlock. That was fun! =D
Now aside from Dragon Ball Pony Z, starting sometime this weekend, I'm going to look over what I have done of chapter 10 of "A Total Eclipse of Their Hearts". My Luna fic is in dire need of updating. So much for my saying, I wouldn't leave my readers hanging for long with the cliff-hanger in chapter 9. *facepalms* My bad my friends. But I will be mentally outlining the rest of the chapter, and apologizing to Luna for neglecting her for so long. =( I hope she won't be too mad. Anyway, I received three comments across the last two days asking for an update. I just want all of you to know I haven't forgotten. The only problem when you have so many ideas, all screaming to get out, you sometimes neglect other stories, without meaning to.
Oh and my Celestia fans, have no fear, I've been working out the details for chapter 6 of "You Brighten My Day". I've been looking forward to working on the next installment of this touching series. And can you believe I have nearly 800 people following this story (currently 789 favorites)! That's amazing! In fact one thing that spurred me to get back to working on this, other than that Celestia is now my second favorite pony (shhh, don't Tell Luna. I'm in enough hot water with her already, and it's not a bath tub), was a simple yet touching comment I received the other day: GodzillaLecter said: "The best Celestia story I have ever read. Greatly looking forward to the next update." I know there are plenty of similar comments on there. Those have aided me greatly into getting this story to where it is now, and have made me decide not to limit its length. I'll keep writing till I fell Celestia and Daniel have spent enough time on Earth. Then the idea for a new series, will put them both in Equestria, but I have a very interesting plot twist as to how he will end up going back with her. It won't be as cut and dry as you might think and will lead to the story's emotional conclusion! It should be good, but that's a number of chapters off yet. And I'm not spilling anything about it, other than that it's going to be good.
You know I wish I had more free time, I'd love to go back and read over some of my fics. I do when I have some time off, which sadly isn't as often as it used to be, but I get by. Your support always means a lot and helps more than you may even suspect, but I digress. Anyway, I remember having some free time one weekend a few months ago, and I re-read chapter 1 of my Celestia story. I hope this doesn't sound arrogant of me, but after I read it, I thought to myself: "Wow, no wonder this is so popular, and to think I wrote this?!"
One last thing for this update. I don't know how many of you remember me mentioning doing a 2nd-person human x pony fic Starring Twilight Sparkle called "For Whom She Sparkles", but last night at work, I got some really good ideas for it. I have a rough mental outline and some physical notes made for it. So this should be another good story. There is plenty of room for it to be very relaxing, sensual and well the "Slice of Life" tag springs to mind.
Oh yeah, before I forget. I have plenty of 2nd-person human x pony stories left to do. Now in my spa pony fic, "you" work in a furniture store and in my "Hooves" series w/ Redheart, "you" work as a clerk in the Mayor's office. Now, are there any other jobs you can think of that you would be interested in seeing the "you" have in my upcoming stories. This isn't a poll, just interested in sharing your thoughts. I've got some of my own, like "you" could work at Sugar Cube Corner or Daisy's Flower Shop, Twilight's Library - helping to organize books. I just want some ideas that will add to each story, and make things well fun, I suppose. And I'm not planning on having any of the jobs be on Sweet Apple Acres. I have no qualms with the Apple family or their orchard, but enough stories have humans working there.

Wow, already done with the next DBPZ chapter? I want that kind of skill, shoot.
Anyway, eagerly await the new Luna chapter, I was rather getting into that one thanks to the, uh, twist you put in there. (Don't want to spoil the fun for anyone.) Needless to say, I must know where that story goes!
I'm also curious about your idea to move Daniel and Celestia to Equestria, while it's probably for the best (as Daniel has little ties to Earth), I'll miss Celestia tinkering around with Daniel's possessions. I just hope they beat that game before they leave (Gosh, was it Xenogears? Feels like it's been so long!). And on the note of it's popularity, It flat out deserves it. Nothing more to say, don't worry about sounding arrogant because that story is wonderful. I almost stopped reading, when I first pulled it up, after learning that Celestia was going to Earth. I've never liked that idea at all, due to how many jackasses are on this planet. BUT! Good god was I glad I kept going, man. Kudos.
The Twilight fic I'm pretty interested in as well, she's not best unicorn (
), but I'm very certain you'll do something great with that.

And fear not. I will always take my time, but every so often, an idea hits me like lightning and flows almost like water, so I can hammer out a good deal of content, but afterwards, I look things over carefully in editing! 
That's funny my friend. The Celestia pic you shared, I depict it in chapter 1 of "You Brighten My Day". It's when Celestia arrives in the mountains near the ruins of the human settlement and the portal to Earth, which lies nearby.

But the rest of the story, the true heart of it will be preserved. In fact, it may work better if it's not set around Hearth's Warming. So we shall see. In all honesty, I don't know which unicorn I want to write about first. They both have their perks. 
Have no fear my friend. It's up there with my Twilight Story. I have plenty of ideas for my Vinyl story, but I may need to retool it a little, seeing as Hearth's Warming is long since over. Unless you guys want a Hearth's Warming story in the middle of February.

Like I said in the blog, I've been mulling over ideas for DBPZ for weeks now. I just needed to sit down and work them out. And thankfully they worked out nicely. I'm looking forward to editing this and getting it posed.
I don't know why I let things slide so long with Luna. For the longest time I was all but ready to name her my waifu, that's how much I loved her. But then Celestia and Redheart started vying for my attention and well, it's like a three-way battle for my #1 pony, and other ponies keep trying to stake their claim too. lol. But I was thinking of the key scenes I want to cover in Chapter 10 that will lead into ideas I have planned for chapter 11 and beyond! The good part is that I have the conclusion of the "twist" taken care of. It just needed edited and the remaining scenes need written.
As far as my Celestia story, have no fear, while I too look forward to moving them to Equestria, we are far from done with their time on Earth! So she will be puttering around with quite a few of his possessions yet. I'm glad you gave it a chance. Not all humans are jerks, you know!

The Twilight fic will be loads of fun, and it's funny you should post an emoticon of Trixie, I'm quite fond of her as well, and love the idea of doing a 2nd-person human x pony story about her!

It's too hard to pick best pony. I think that's a given seeing how eager we all are to change up the rules and say stuff like: "Oh, well, Celestia is best Princess but Cadence is best Alicorn!". That kind of stuff gets me everytime.
I'll keep my eye out for the Luna fic, for sure. I'm a little scared for their future, but I'm curious to see how it all plays out! BTW, How long do you think this story'll end up being? It seems to be moving at a pretty good pace, and there's quite a bit to work with.
Good news on YBMD's front, I just love how Celestia helps Daniel in the kitchen, I find those moments so endearing. Other moments too, like when she was surfing the internet, got bored playing Super Mario, began reading LoTR, gah!, I just adore the way you wrote her time there! The reason I don't typically read EoE (Equestrian on Earth) fics is because I'm always scared that a random person'll stumble upon the pony and have him/her taken away from the protag. I didn't want that to happen in your Cel. fic (Especially now that I've read the chapters!) so I was a bit reluctant at first. It hurts me just thinking about it.
I'd love to read a Trixie fic from you, pal. Truth be told, though I don't write at all, I've had this one idea for a 3rd person, HiE Trixie fic that I hope to write someday. I'm very proud of what I have, I just, uh, can't write. Lol. I've been constantly jotting down Ideas for it for the past two months or so, But looking at what I'd want to do with it, it'd be very taxing. Even if I did write consistently! I'll get to it one of these days, though.

The good part about my Rainbow Dash fic, it's already fully outlined. I just need to write it and check my notes and outline as I work on it.
