Because of how weird my brain is wired, I tend to come up with story ideas very often, to the point that I will never be able to write them all. So, I have decided that I will share them here... maybe someone will take a plot bunny and run with it... maybe I will... or maybe nothing will happen. But at least I got it out of my head.
Plot Bunny #2: My Little Pony: Majora's Mask
In The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, The Skull Kid has the mask of the chaos god Majora slapped on his face and gained godly powers. He uses these to create a giant moon that will destroy Termina, awaken 4 deadly masked monsters, and turn Link into a Deku shrub.
But what if things had gone differently?
In this plot bunny, Majora is a servant of Discord. When he senses his master's return, he decides to hurry to the land of Equestria, in order to aid his lord in battle. Link gets in the way and Majora uses his magic to knock him out.
Link awakens to find that he has become a young colt. Heading into Ponyville, he meets Twilight and her friends who are disturbed to find that Celestia and Luna have been sealed away and Luna's moon now has Discord's face on it and it is slowly growing bigger as it moves to crush Equestria. After spending three days trying to figure out what to do, Link, Twilight and the rest face down Majora, who reveals that, upon discovering Discord was defeated, he decided to take revenge. A comment from Pinkie causes Twilight to decide to try combined Link's Song of Time with her Time Travel spell. The result causes the 7 to warp back to day one.
Realizing they now have all the time in the world to fix the problem, the girls and Link begin to work together to get the strength to defeat Majora. Twilight uses her magic to free Link of his pony form (creating a mask that Link can now don to become Pony Link). They also find Epona, who has gained the ability to talk. Research leads the girls to realize that they will need four shards from Discord's first stone prison to defeat Majora and free the princesses. These shards are guarded in 4 areas: The Everfree Forest (and the Castle of the Alicorn Sisters), the Tunnels of the Diamond Dogs, Ghastly Gorge (which holds the lost graveyard of Equestria) and Starswirl the Beards legendary library sunk off the coast of Equestria. Each of these is guarded by four mosnterous creatures: the Shade of Nightmare Moon, a 6 armed giant Diamond Dog, a skeletal hydra, and the Kraken. Along the way, Link gains several more masks, allowing him to take the forms of a timberwolf, a minotaur, a griffin and a seapony.
That is all I have for now... I imagine this could be a ton of fun with drama, adventure, and meta jokes ("Duna nana nana nana nana nana nana... nanana!!!!" Pinkie sang as Link held up the sword. When the others looked at her, she shrugged. "What? Link found a sword!").

694112 I've never played any Legend of Zelda games although Ihoping this year will finally change that. I know the series is pretty hard.
All the same I've heard good things about Majora's Mask as well as Ocarina of Time and Link To The Past.

Although the Games wont be as impressive now as they were when i first played them. You should check them out . Ocarina of Time just got a remake for the 3DS and rumors say that Majoras Mask also gets a remake .

694161 I've been itching to get my hands on a 3DS but they're just too dang expensive, I've tried asking for one for Christmas and My Birthday but no such luck, my dad isn't intrested.
Sadly the only way I'll be able to play most of them is likely through the Wii Virtual Console or perhaps the Ocarina of Time remake for the Gamecube.

It's not that the series is hard, it just makes you think. You can't blast throught the stages like you could a mario game.
It'a great for people who are looking for a bit of a challenge, I'd suggest playing the older games first, the newer ones feel much easier than their predecessors.

I had my own idea for a Zelda:Majora's Mask crossover. I finished an outline, and got halfway through the first chapter before abandoning it.
I abandoned it because I thought there were too many Zelda/MLP stories on FIMFiction already. There's at least two Majora's Mask specific crossovers.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do now, except I am going to preemptively blame you, defender2222, for any MLP/MM story that I may or may not write.
694175 I'll be the judge of that. I have a friend who bought Skyward Sword and she told me she couldn't get through one of the dungeons and I believe it was early in the game.
Also to my knowledge Skyward Sword is the first game if you don't count those horrible Philips CDI games to have Link talk instead of just grunt.

I wanted to get a Wii but the only Games i was interested in were Smash Brothers and Fire Emblem and a potential New Star Fox Game (which never came...) . How much does the 3DS cost where you live ?
VC is a good Idea . I think they cost around 10 or 15 bucks and they're totally worth it

The Wii isn't too bad although I admit for the first two years it was out there wasn't much for it. That's changed a lot lately. Nintendo has brough back old franchises like "Punch Out" and "Kid Icarius". And Mario Party 9 was amazing, the graphics looked like they were in HD although someone told me the Wii doesn't run on HD.
At the least in my opinion Nintendo doesn't try to cram it's console full of the same first person shooter game over and over again each year while neglecting franchises and developers that got them there in the first place. Unlike Sony and Microsoft which seem content to outdo each other.
As a fan of the Zelda franchise, I must say that this would be a very interesting take on a 'LoZ:MM & MLP'-fusion!

The Wii doesnt do HD but you shouldnt care about that .
Sony and MS arent the only ones riding franchises to death .
Have you played the 4 or so "New Super Mario Bros." Games ? They all suck (except maybe the first one since it was well..New) . But People still buy it because : Hey ! Its Mario !
And have you seen what they did to the Metroid series ? One of the reasons Samus was so cool was because she wasnt a whiny little *beep* like she is in Other M .
My PS3 is collecting dust ever since i got a new PC.
Its not even funny how superior the PC is towards the Consoles .

The timeline of Legend of Zelda is very complex. After Skyward, Minish Cap, Four Swords and Orcania, it splits into THREE timelines: One following Link when he was returned to his childhood, one following adult Zelda who sent Link back, and one where Link DIED during the final battle.
Obviously, this story would take place in the child timeline

Once you play Skyward sword and finish it, give Wind waker a try, it's probably my favorite one.

694754 My brother Jakob rented it for a week from the library but he didn't really get far. I never really took the time to try it out.
Wind waker from what I've heard was decent, some fans weren't too pleased with the long sailing streches.
Also I've heard that the water temple in Majora's Mask is even worse than it was in Ocarina of Time, I think ScrewAttack had it listed as one of their top ten worst water levels.

The sailing was pretty cool at first, but it was never too bad if you knew what to look for, And the water temple is always hell, no matter what Zelda game you are playing.

695645 I've played the TMNT dam level and let me tell you it's as hard as frick, the time limit doesn't help. Yet it only cracked 8 on the top ten worst water levels since it's so early in the game.
695657 I played the level, and beat the game a long time ago. Loved the game. WATER LEVEL WAS HARD(as was its boss), and oddly terrifying.
But, I remeber the final boss of the game was dissapointingly easy....
695788 I've only gotten to level 3 but man is that game hard, the trick is keeping Leonardo and Donatello alive, Donatello even gets a special cheat that he can use on the second boss of level 1.
I assume you mean ideas related to this one or similar to, not our own ideas that we'd like to see you do? Well, haven't gotten/played Majora's Mask, so I'll leave this one to somepony else, plus I have enough of my own ideas as-is to do.

Well, that's all well and nice, but doesn't really answer my question on final line of this blog post I asked about, and what you meant by it.
If about our own ideas/suggestions for this idea that's up for grabs or our own ideas think you'd wanna hear about. Since I didn't really respond to the idea in question, even though sounds interesting, but I know nothing about Majora's Mask, so if someone were to write it, wouldn't likely be me for that reason, in order for it to be done right.
And by your take, do you mean what you'd think about an idea told to you or how you'd do it if you were the one writing it?

For someone who claimed they didn't know what I was asking, sure managed to FINALLY understand and answer it. 
I was asking initially about final line, I thought I CLEARLY said in last response, which is what I was asking about in beginning. As that was my assumption that meant to post ideas about this story idea you had that won't do, when you said to "post ideas" when you didn't say it in the first one, but wanted confirmation rather than just going off an assumption. Since all replies so far here are either about the game itself or other things not really related, no offense to those. And thus, didn't answer probably trivial question for me, after I read all of them, even if doubted would wanna reply to anything in any of them.

As I said, I know NOTHING about Majora's Mask, so I can't really offer advice, plot tips, ideas, etc. Sounds solid as-is and not much I can suggest, probably. Just weirded out slightly by mention of a Kraken and giant 6-armed Diamond Dog, not to mention seapony form sounds weird, after the concept's kinda been done/mentioned a bit in several fics on this site and that's all the way back from G1, if I'm right.
But still thought I should ask about the plot ideas part, even if seemed obvious, but sometimes, an assumption CAN be wrong and thus, should never assume. Since can lead to misunderstandings, mishaps, etc.

). I see her between Midna and Tatl in times of comments. She also will have some reservations about the Mane 6 and 'her Link', even if she harbors no feeling than camraderie for him.
Just from the top of my head, there could be:
> A discussion about bits and crystals (or rupees) and Link definitely being unable to understand them.
> Some little snippets of Parasprites and Fairies being similar. Except for the eating thing, of course. What, if Link is able to tame one?
> Of course there MUST be at least a short cameo of Lyra witnessing Link transform from colt to human...and following that her own ideas how to transform.
> Bombs definitely come with the Diamond Dogs and a bow for the griffins. How about some liane as sort of a grappling hook-like device for the Everfree? That one could even be granted by a saved Zecora. And for the last temple? *scratches his chin* How about an electric rod? Like the fire/ice rod this one launches electricity at enemies, stunning them for a brief moment and hurting water-creatures.

Not everypony will want to go to the diamond dogs (like Rarity for example) and everypony of the Mane 6 adds certain 'extras' to Link for making his adventuring time easier. Rainbow Dash helps him with speed and jumps, aiding his rather small form on his jumps. Fluttershy cares for every nice animal (many of the opponents in the LOZ-series seem kinda...unhappily stuck with Link in a room and just struggle for their life) and stares down many evil ones. Twilight aids with magic - either in fights or with other tasks, his performed magic will be stronger (like an ice arrow freezing an entire wall in one shot instead of just a bit). And Pinkie Pie...well, she has everywhere items stacked in case of emergencies (like running out of arrows, bombs, magic, etc.) and her uplifting spirit makes the otherwise scary places a lot easier to travel through. The only time all end up in one place is at the final confrontation so only then there are Elements of Harmony allowed.

Yeah, here is a bit of them. I could probably think of more (like items only usable in other forms like the powder kegs for the goron) but for now that is enough.
