Chapter 16 Progress (very good news too!) · 5:04am Jan 9th, 2013
Hey guys,
As I promised, I’d make Chapter 16’s progress a little more transparent than normal.
I stand at 51 pages (Normal chapters are 60-65) long now. However I sense this one may bulge to 70. But Chapter 16 is a very special one indeed so this is absolutely within acceptance levels. It’s not an rush of desperation like Chapter 8. It’s not a tense and heroic Chapter 12…Chapter 16 is a bit different again. I like my ‘big’ chapters to always feel different to one another and this one is a little quieter…a little more personal and heartfelt.
I wouldn’t have chosen it to be the “returning” chapter if I could, but this is the hand I’ve been dealt. Literally, in my case health wise.
All the same, I dearly look forward to seeing what people think of this.
Schedule wise, I’m going to make sure Chapter 16 is completed in its first draft before I look to dates. Once I have it completed, then I shall look at what date I’m on. (Likely within 2-3 days) From there I shall point out a release date that will give me time to write another chapter and a half if I can before it. The current estimate is “late January.” The little surprise may not be ready then, but we’ll see how that goes.
Thank you for your ongoing patience. It means so much to me that you guys and gals actually trusted that I wasn’t going to let this go. I couldn’t possibly do that now.

They were pretty quiet for me due to some other medical problems I was combating (It wasn't my luckiest December!) but they were very nice, got to meet some of the family I rarely see. Hope you had a good time too. ^^
