It's taken far longer than it should have, and I've had to change so damn much just to get the first chapter(s) actually decent enough to make anybody want to read the rest.
But, at long last, it's all coming together.
Currently standing at about 23k words, Predictions and Prophecies is already the longest thing I've ever done... And I reckon I'm just under a third of the way through writing it. Admittedly, it's not much, but it's also the thing I'm most proud of having done with my time.
I'm sure that says more about me than I'd like to know.
Anyway, all I need to do is give the story as it currently stands a thorough spit-shine and get a couple more people to vouch for my lack of incompetence, and then I'll be able to finally start serving you this long-overdue dish. Hopefully I'll start publishing this thing sometime next week, and I'll do my best to have an update every couple of weeks or so.
In the mean time, though, I can show you a little something that my (non-homosexual) partner and art slave Laberoon/Ocean_Mist slapped together for me: the current front cover for Predictions and Prophecies.
I wonder if you can tell who the main character is going to be...?
Of course, it's not entirely finished—but I seem to have a penchant for showing you guys stuff in an incomplete state, so I'm sure you're used to it by now.
