My dog, Derk, died yesterday. He was nine. It was getting really hard for him to even stand up. So they put him to sleep. A deep sleep. It's the second time one of my dogs has died. Happy 2013.

678678 Sadly, I only knew him for one year. My mom and dad broke up a few years ago and my mom started living with someone else. The man in person owned the dog, and I have only lived there for one year. I didn't know him that long, but still. It hurts. But it never hurts as much as when you lose your first dog. The first time is always special.
