I'm sorry to everyone who liked this episode, but I HATED it. They made look like an idiot and like a terrible assistant. So apparently he's only helpful when he's helping Twilight or helping Rarity make dresses. FUCK THAT. They should have made him a good assistant for Applejack. Now I do realize this episode would not be the same otherwise, but they should not have made this episode. And seriously what is up with those voodoo wolves? They don't die unless you throw rocks down their throats. WTF! And they throw in a somewhat Sparity moment, but THEY FUCK IT ALL UP by making Spike cook something terrible. Every other time, Spike is a great cook but not this time? Although it shows Rarity does love Spike since she did take a bite only when she found out he made it. But still he would never burn a pie. And he rescues Applejack by throwing a rock down the Timberwolf's mouth... No! That is one of the stupidest things I ever saw in cartoon logic.
I only liked one thing about this episode. The hug Spike gives Twilight at the end. It was cute! And that gives 1 star to this episode for that scene.
In the end I give this episode 1/10. TERRIBLE. What a waste of an episode and my time. I hope this does not kill Applejack's chance of getting another episode as the main character. The previous episode was SO MUCH BETTER!

Good points: Timberwolf Fight at the beginning, Timberwolf Voltron at the end, and Rainbow Dash writes Fan Fiction.
Bad points: Spike forgets how to cook. Spike forgets how to clean a house. Spike forgets that he can breath ****ing FIRE! Bucking Fetlocks, it's like Spike forgot how to actually be Spike today!

I totally agree with what you are saying about Spike. They completely messed up his character. This episode was written by Dave Polsky. He is a new writer. So now we know he can't properly write Spike's character.

Spike episode. Puts it automatically on a 5/10. This can't be too bad, right? (not necessarily the end score)
Brutal killing of Timberwolves. Now the episode is on a 6/10
Evil fucking Pinkie! 8/10
Spike acting like a dumb slave. Classic theme, though I don't like seeing Spike like that very much. Down to 6/10
Extremely funny. Many screw-ups. Good jokes. Back to 8/10. You know what. I really laughed during this episode. 9/10
Spike hugging Twilight... That was pretty cute... *ERROR ERROR UNABLE TO CALCULATE AWESOMENESS ERROR ERROR*

I could not stand how OOC Spike was throughout the episode. Why would Spike fail at all the tasks he's been raised since birth to complete? Why is Spike cowering in a corner waiting to die when he has demonstrated both fighting skills and bravery in prior episodes? Why is a dragon afraid of creatures made out of wood? The last half of the episode almost redeemed it for me, but why would they bother with the huge buildup to the giant timber wolf just to have it be defeated by pebble? A freaking pebble...

But yes Spike totally ruined this episode for me. Some people found it funny, not me. I was saying throughout the whole episode "Why!" "Spike why would you do that?" and other things. Spike doesn't burn food, every other episode he baked food perfectly. And then he brings the burnt pie to Rarity. Now he lost all his chances with her :(

I did not laugh... ONCE! Spike why are you so stupid?????? Well Spike you have 1 more chance to keep your spot as my second favourite character. You better not fuck it up. But I agree the hug between Spike and Twilight was a 20/10 on the d'awwwww meter.

I couldn't agree more my friend. The way the Timber wolf was killed was very stupid and weak. I mean a rock down the throat?!
Also, Spike burning the pie, messing up the kitchen, etc. The writers seriously messed up on his character in this episode. The hug at the end is the only part I enjoyed from this episode as well.
