So another Spike episode has come and gone. And once again, canon has been shattered. Yes it's true. Everything you know is wrong: Up is down, black is white, and short is long. And everything you thought was just so important doesn't matter.

First thing I'd like to point out is that Timber wolves are from another dimension. Don't believe me?
See that? Look at those outlines. Look at them. Then look at a pony. Heck, look at bestpony.
See those outlines? Go on. I'll wait. I realize it can take a while to notice the outlines. It's a pretty distracting pic.
Yeah. Nice thick, luscious, bold outlines and delicious, vivid, non-cell shading on that plony there. Black, scraggly outlines, and anime-style cellshading on the timber wolves.
Clearly from outside space and time.
Now the big one. Okay. Ready for it? Really? Are you sure?
Applejack isn't a pony. She's a butterfly.
What? I thought the connection needed no more context or explanation than that. Or than this screenshot.
Okay. I'll break it down for you. Back after season one some clever dude did some math and figured out the physics involved in Fluttershy's death-plummet from Cloudsdale as a single, teen mom who was in the same class as her daughter but didn't know it. Wait... Mother and daughter in the same class? Does that make Cloudsdale Alabama?
Um, where was I? Oh right. The butterflies were able to halt Flutters's fall because they were made of dark matter. Since we know a super dense butterfly weights a lot, being dark matter allows you to fly. Clearly. You know what that means? It means a lot of the missing matter in the universe is contained in the pic below.
But anyway. Enough silliness. Dark Matter things can obvious fly with an ease that rivals normal things. Remember when AJ flew in the balloon at the end of Return to Harmony? Screenshot? Okay.jpg
But Dark Matter things get to act like they have a lot of mass when it's convenient. (Convenientness is a very complex quantum trait that won't be discussed here.) So when AJ needs to fly, she's got normal pony mass*. When she needs to take a hot air balloon back to ponyville, she weighs more than Twilight, Pinkie, and Rarity together. That's as much as three ponies, and that's terrible confusing.
*Perhaps even negative mass. This would result in a near 0 total mass for all ponies and the balloon. But that gets into storyline/time relativity and it's-just-a-cartoon theory kicks in and then hundreds of people spend hours arguing whether Fluttershy is faster than Rainbow Dash. (She's not.)
Applejack exhibits all of the traits of the Dark Matter butterflies in S1. As we know, correlation and causation both begin with 'c'. So does 'Carrot Top' (AJ's family), 'Caramel' (Pretty similar coat colors (more 'c's!) to AJ), and 'contrived'. Therefore, Applejack is a butterfly.
Due to their family relationships (already conclusively proven (MORE C's!) in earlier blog posts), we can conclude that Pinkie Pie (who is AJ's sister) is ALSO a butterfly. That means that Fluttershy (her, niece) is at least six and 1/2 butterflies (there is a mark on each ass cheek. Clopfics do no lie :|) which means that Rainbow Dash is 3 and 1/4 butterflies.
Twilight, being adopted, is 0 butterflies :C

I actually think that would be the worst thing ever. I like the current animation a lot. It's part of the attraction of the show. Generic anime (with bad antialiasing) and crappy 3d effects would probably make me Ctrl+w before the episode was over. If they were going to change animation styles, they need to go full old school Disney or Miyazaki. Half assing it with CGI would just be bleh.

That episode was fun. I've visited the city that was supposed to have been in the feud. I think. So many tiny towns near/in the Black Forest.
