Good news and bad news. Bad news first:
I don't have one.
Yeah, I know, I'm a lazy ass. It's not my fault! It's Christmas and family and- and presents to open and... SO MUCH TURKEY.
Look, my mind's all over the place right now, and my talent comes and goes with my mentality. If I'm thinking random, I can't write a witty, detailed and complex story that would properly enthrall my audience. I'm not going to force out something that I can't even connect with while writing, because the end product would be below my usual standards, and you'd all notice that. If I don't enjoy writing it, how can I expect you to enjoy reading it? That's just how it is. I think I'll just take a break from ADT for the next week, and pick it back up in the first week of the New Year. It's only a week away, and it'll give me the time I need to clear my thoughts so that I can make sure my coming chapters will be as good as those before. My apologies, but it's necessary.
The good news?
I'm not going to stop writing. The moment I realized my inability to finish by my deadline, I switched over to another project I'd had at a standstill since late October (Last edited it on the 28th. Opened it on the 28th of December purely by chance. Coinkidink?) and got that all prepped up for you guys. I'm just letting it get one final review from some friends before I publish it tomorrow, and that'll be my way of saying 'sorry for missing an update'. I just know you'll love it, so once it's up, let me know if you think it's good enough to make up for my fallacy.
