EStatic's Drawing Board: Story Update.

So I know a couple people have asked me when I was going to update my story "A Day In the Life." And I never got back to them cause I (of course) was too busy writing the second chapter. Unfortunately,a few things came up, which I'm gonna adress in this blog post:

1. Re-writing the first chapter

On the advice of my friend Mendoza, I've started to re-write chapter one in the third person, as well as shed some light on how Vadell was warped there in the first place. When I first made the chapter, I felt like I was merely shoehorning him into the canon (which I did :P) and, as someone else pointed out, I made him look overpowered, which definitely was not my intention. I intend to fix this very soon.

2. I currently have no access to the files for the second chapter

This is the main reason why I haven't updated. I was nearly finished the second chapter when my flash drive decided to play a game of hide-and-seek. And so far, It's winning. >___< I was going to use an early draft of the chapter I had on my laptop to restart, but unfortunately, it's out of commision as well. Screw my life.

3. Lack of inspiration

Ever read those Charlie Brown comic strips where Snoopy was trying to write a novel, and kept failing horribly? Yeah, that's pretty much the situation I'm in now. But I plan to have the second chapter finished and uploaded before the end of January.
