My Hard Drive Died · 5:18am May 12th
Hey everyone,
Title says it all. My computer's hard drive went and killed itself and took my pics, videos, and files with it. I've got a new drive and the dead one has been sent to data retrieval specialists, which could run me like a thousand bucks, but I need my files back. Chapter 102 is among them, and as of right now, I have no idea if I'm gonna get it back. I was like 90% done, and all I needed was a few more good days of block free writing to get it done. If I have to start this all from scratch (again!) I'll do so, but I'm not gonna be happy about it. I'll just ask you all to cross your fingers that the stupid hard drive (which was only a year and a half old) will give back the chapter and everything else of mine.
It's just one thing after another it seems, but I'm just as frustrated as you all are for the many, MANY delays.
I'll update you all again when I get the news.

HOLY SHIT, that's rough. I haven't had a hard drive die on me yet, and I dread the day if it does happen. I recommend using Google Drive to at least back up whatever I'm writing, even if you're not using Google Docs like me.
Fingers crossed. There's little hope if the drive was physically damaged, but you'd probably get the data back if it were software or aging. (the most recently used, the better)
Oh my god that sucks man, I'm so sorry! I hope your hard drive is able to be recovered! You've done so much for this story, and we all appreciate what you do!
