It's been three whole years since I started writing! Woohoo! All that time wasted thinking about ponies! 
...Okay, now that the celebration is over, I'm unfortunately absolutely exhausted, so I'm gonna leave you all with what I drummed up to celebrate for this year. It's just a little side thing about Dark magic, so if its history interests you at all, then you should go check it out.
I'm gonna try to stay on all day, so feel free to message me about whatever. I love whatever. Whatever is basically my favorite thing.
Usually I'm a bit more exuberant and ecstatic on my anniversary, but I'm not having a great time, so I'm just doing my best to pretend like that's not true! I mean, I just spent the past four or so hours getting this all together on a whim, so there's some proof I don't let everything get me down!

As for the new thing you posted, I'll get around to reading it, it's not very long but usually when I read supplementary material I like to read the main material as well and I'm all caught up... so yeah

Half a decade of ponies, based on your joined date, is pretty long. It's reasonable if you did. Heck, it's nearly 11 years for me. Slightly longer since I didn't join FiMfiction on day 1.
Since it is Light's birthday, when would the Apples inadvertantly coerce him into attending his own birthday?

D'aw, thanks, Screw. It feels... well, it felt momentous last year; this year, it feels kinda plain. Just 'cause three years comes after two and a bit before five. It's not all that special, methinks.
Either way, and even through all the various hiccups in my life, I don't think I'll stop for good anytime soon. I really adore this community and this world; it continually enthralls me.
Light is eighteen, by the way, and his birthday is March 13th! He's not all that big on birthdays—just another fitful day—but if... say, Applejack were to insist that he do something special, well...
He'd probably acquiesce and let her do whatever she wanted, like with everything else.

As for those stories, unfortunately, I don't really read as much as I probably should. I struggle to take time away from writing whenever the opportunity arises, and whenever I do actually read something, I usually stop pretty quickly because of how much it just makes me want to write.
In my case, reading and writing kind of preclude each other.

I understand. Reading makes me want to write too... but I just... dont. It frustrates me to no end. IF you ever get the time, I recommend necromancer's ambition. It's sequel, From Dusk to Night, is a decent romance story that sadly didn't get as much attention as the first.
