First Experience With Uploading

Hiya to any and all who see this!

I've been a part of this site for many years ago, but moreso as a lurker than anything else. In 2015, I started writing stories with my partner, but we'd always kept them private. And really, we called them "stories", but honestly, it was more like a kind of RP, in a way. Like, they'd say something, then I'd say something, and we'd go back and forth like that, but it was always in a story-like format. Whenever I'd read stories here, very seldomly, if ever, would I comment. And a lot of that is due to just... shyness.

Recently I started uploading one of the stories that my partner and I have worked on, I wanted to share this orange pone to the world, and as we near that story's end, I definitely want to put more of what we've done up, but not before we get through some very heavy editing first.

I do want to apologize for some of my comments. Changing Skies got some comments, and to me, some of the things said didn't make sense. I wanted to break down my thought process and go over why we wrote certain things the way we did, but as I read back on my responses, I kind of feel like I might have come off a bit more aggressive than I intended to. This is a very new process for me, and I love sharing ideas.

I'll be the first to admit that no, my partner and I are not the best writers. Not by a long shot. And we're not trying to be! We've done... six stories so far over the last ten years, and most of them are pretty long. Changing Skies is actually one of the shorter ones that we've written. I expressed wanting to get all of our stuff on here, and my partner has agreed, though we want to heavily edit our stories before we post them because... we go back and read some of the stuff we wrote in 2015, and while we like the base foundation of what we wrote, there's so much of it that I just cringe at. Grammar mistakes, things that make absolutely zero sense, some absolutely HORRID pacing... the list goes on.

My goal next is to get the story that directly follows Changing Skies up next, it's another one that's pretty self contained. I also want to get our first story up, but my partner wants to edit a few more chapters of that before we start posting it. Regardless, more is planned, and I can't wait to share it.

We're not coming into this expecting people to like it, but I definitely am eager to share. Thanks to all who have given Changing Skies a chance and left comments, and I hope you'll like the other stuff too!
