Didn't Violette make an appearance in a previous episode? I haven't brought myself to watch the TYT series yet (if I ever will) but I swear I've seen a screenshot of her posted in Discord from another episode.
Another Misty episode. I get the feeling that the last poll found her to be the most popular G5 main character, and they're capitalizing on it. Can't blame them; she is adorable.
Gonna be honest, I thought this was going to be a hollow episode until Misty
put on the Sorting Hatgot her fortune read.It's also another instance where it feels like G5 is forgetting its own lore. So now breezies were around before Chapter 5, and they have a magic fortune telling lake in a world that only just recently got magic back. Including Violette was already iffy because her comic story featured zebras, and it's a bit weird that the ponies are okay with zebras when their own races didn't trust each other.
I’ll fill you in! So Violette is suffering from this ailment. You heard of vitiligo? Shoot, she has revitiligo. Every year her skin seems to get darker and darker. It’s the opposite of what Micheal Jackson got.

You really should readh the comics. They're great.
Lore being forgotten in the rush to fulfill episode count requests aside, the Breezie's ritual seems to have a dual function: to tell a pony their fortune, but not before they have them face their past, especially when it's a pony who carries regrets.
Poll aside, having Misty go through this was an inspired choice.

Fair points. And I'll say that this episode has my favorite instance thus far of one of the G5 Mane 6
activating their Power Ranger morpherinvoking their cutie mark/element. Here, I got the impression that she was saying it to compose herself while facing her past.... I keep forgetting to bring this up, but it's season 2. Misty should be in the ends credits animation.

I think she made a small appearance in that one TYT episode which was basically Roots of all Evil Pt 1 and 2 in a nutshell

agreed, Don't get me wrong, Misty is a good character, when they let her be one. The big issue for me personally is that 5 minutes is not enough to tell a decent story. G4 sometimes struggled with 20 minutes. 5-7 minute episodes should be short self-contained gag episodes like the old Looney Tune shorts. If they want to explore a more serious topic or tell a decent story, at least make it a 2 or 3 part format like in some of the G4 IDW comics.
