Why is "MLD" taking so long to progress? · 8:10pm February 11th
So the story "my little diseases"
Is taking quite a while to work on.
And i have a couple of reasons as to why, so bare with me XD
The main reason is writers block. Its been pretty bad recently, and I haven't had the motivation to write out chapters.
Another reason is more of a personal reason, toward the story itself.
And that's, that I'm worried this story wont do well. Ive been planning it out, tweaking the notes and plot points, and making sure everything links together nicely.
But I'm still worried there will be plot holes or something that will make the story, not make sense.
And because of this, I have been hesitant to continue with writing the story.
This doesn't mean I'm stopping with writing the story, ive been really enjoying what I write so far, its been a lot of fun writing something that isn't immediately body horror or gore related.
My main plan is to have the story be a bit more of a slow burn, not so slow that it becomes boring, but enough that the serious moments really hit hard.
And that's where most of my worries arise, because I want the drawn out moments to still feel relevant, but not stretch for too long. Its a fine line to walk, so ive been told, and I worry that its going to lose your guys' attention.
Its just a hurdle ill have to overcome when it comes to my writing, seeing as I'm still a relatively new writer.
I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination, and that's why all I ask from you guys, is that you bare with me.
If you have any advice that would help draw out moments while keeping them relevant, please comment them down below, anything will do.
Thank you all for your understanding <3
