"An Old Flame" Afterthoughts · 4:07am January 31st
I published "An Old Flame" earlier this month as part of a personal goal to post more stories this year (we're not gonna talk about how I wanted to publish a non-clopfic this month too) and I'm pretty pleased with its reception.
After garnering the usual initial small burst of downvotes that I usually see on clop, it began to accumulate more upvotes and views as well as provoking some conversation in the comments - that I always love to see. I wasn't sure how the site would react to infidelity stories, since I've never written one, but it seems to have gone over fine. In fact, it's gotten more views than any of the last 6 stories I've published!
A number of people expressed a desire for a sequel, so I'll certainly be keeping that in mind for the future.
