Electro Swing Editing Progress Report 3: Meant to Post This Last Friday! · 1:23am January 29th
Sorry for the radio silence, but we're back to checking Electro Swing.
Chapters Revisited: 17/61. Changes: Wording clean-up and a few continuity errors.
No big deal.
Now that we are getting past the point that I'd given up on ending the book in a low amount of chapters, there's a lot fewer glaring errors that are popping out as I go along. Characters are geting more consitent with where they ended up in the later parts of the work, and we'd hit our working stride between me and AP. Honestly, most of the checking was a breeze outside of some word choices. Just feels like I'm reading a book. Glad we're nowhere near chapters 1-5 territory. Chapter 18 is the only chapter on the horizon that I need to spend some extra time on looking at. From there, I feel pretty confident with the rest of the work. Can't really think of any major problems or inconsistencies since we're now after I had written a timeline of events.
In other news, It's Only Coffee tied for second place in the M/M Shipping Contest! Thank you so much for disliking the comments in the fic, though in hindsight, I shouldn't have advertised that.

I also received a fair bit of prize money which will be going into three things: backing Petal Crash 2, paying an artist friend for some cover artwork, and whatever else needs to go into making Electro Swing physical copy a reality. I can't use my yen (yet) for whatever costs are associate with getting a hard copy made, so I'm very glad I could put the money towards a few things I want to get made in the world. That's still pretty far off as I'm only almost a 3rd of the way through the chapter count, and I know the back two-thirds are the lion's share of wordy chapters. I'll do my best though.
No other news outside of the school year coming to a close here in a couple months along with my birthday in March. Let's see if I can get this editing stuff done before the next school year starts.
