Opinions on story construction

Hey y'all, working on a problem over here

I've got a fanfic that I'm working on that's part of a big universe and I've got sever prequels to it as well as a decentralized slice of life anthology to go along with it, question is, how should I construct the stories?

My current idea is

Main fic
Prequels
Decentralized anthology

But i also thinking in a game of thrones sense I could combine the decentralizing anthology and cut it up in between all the prequel stories to make like one big long story.

My thinking is that It would like help segment the prequel stories but also give them kind of like a continuital flow between them, but I also like the idea of having the three separate stories, so what would you guys think?
