Possible Delay? + More · 11:09pm January 13th
1.3k words into Chapter 3 and my little sister decided to just now tell me needs rides to medical appointments tomorrow + Monday... (-_-)
As the chapter is mostly done, it shouldn't be too crazy of a delay, but I feel like what I have so far is more weirdly worded than usual, so I'll be editing it more (albeit the "weirdness" isn't unexpected, I guess, since it's an "info" chapter of sorts, just having Twilight's notes + speculation, VS tons of plot). Once the story is done in a chapter or two, I'll go back over and try to smooth out the more oddly written parts + minor plotholes I've made.

(Also, I got a comment asking how Luna moves Actual Stars. Answer? No idea! Celestia + Luna canonically move the sun and moon around their planet, ordinary ponies in large groups can do it themselves, so ponies moving celestial bodies around is canon. I remember vague discussion in the show about Luna being able to move comets / stars or something — unless that's fanon and I'm mixing up canon abilities w fanon ones — but if Celestia can move a star (the Sun) canonically, I don't see how/why Luna couldn't move other stars. Albeit the "how do they do this" is kind of hand (hoof?) waved in the show as "it's magic". I know that Lone Ranger has an explanation for it, but, honestly, half of it went over my head, and even the ponies in that fic didn't know how it worked before a human showed up.)
Just realized after writing this that the idea of Luna having control over stars (even if "just" the stars visible to ponies) is really scuffed. Like, imagine you're living on Earth, and one day the sun just up and vanished. And it's because a magical blue horse moved it around to make some constellation or something for her planet.
