Who is this guy?

Hello, this is weird for me. But I make blog.

I've been working on a story for about 10 years now. I hope to put out the prologue chapter within a few months, but I do procrastinate a lot. I'm making this blog to get some thoughts out on paper(sorta) and to have something to maybe look back on in the future after I have actually put out a decent amount of material. I've gotten a lot of inspiration from Fallout:Equestria and some of its on spin-off fan-fictions, so I'm aiming for a general depressing tone with these bits here and there that just make all of the suffering feel like it was worth it. I'll probably fall off the wagon and write extra soft saccharin sweet stuff at some point because I'm a sucker for some good romance surrounded by chaos.

I've pulled a lot of inspiration from a lot of material from lots of video games, manga, anime, comics, classical and modern stories. I'm going for an amalgamation of a lot of ideas and here's to hoping they blend together nicely. If you find a spot and feel like you've seen that bit somewhere before, you probably have(and hopefully you're happy about it).

Many of the ideas I had way back in 2014 have been completely changed or evolved into something so much bigger. It's taken forever to get to the point I am now, and I am very proud of what I have achieved. Vague ideas of events and characters fermented in the barrel for such a long time and always stuck around in the back of my head. Then as I'm trying to think of something to do with a new idea my brain reached into the back and pulls out something just fits oh so perfectly. Got a lot of good dopamine rushed when a plan for something would come together.

A little while back I started playing around with AI art generators to get a concept of how some of the main characters in my story would look and holy crap did I get some good ones. My avatar is one of them. I do plan to have an artist make some pieces for the chapters as I put them out. But seeing some of the characters I've been dreaming up for years before my eyes actually made me tear up a few times. AI art was a nebulous thing way back then.

When I started writing the story, I thought of the main villein first. I started creating characters around them, including the main character. So many guides told me to think of the end of the story first, then fill in everything that leads up to it. That was some amazing advise, as it lead to the creation of so many other ideas and characters to complement the world building.

Sorry for a lot of blog structure, I'm very tired and scatterbrained. This was all probably painful to read, I promise my story writing won't hurt you eyeballs like this blog did(a least it shouldn't). I love the hell out of this fandom, and hope to make a decent contribution to it before it disappears.
