Is it me or shall someone consider Seasons 1-3 and BYG (1988-1995) the Classic Series?

For me. Backyard Gang and the First Era (1988-1997) is the true Barney, with Season 4 being the last good season because Sheryl Leach left the show after the movie, and Seasons 5-6 have a handful of bad episodes and the bad episodes got worse in Seasons 7-14.

For worst episodes of Barney, the worst episode of the First Generation (1992-1997) is "Our Furry Feathered Fishy Friends" because of the plot twist, and the worst episode of the Lyrick-era is "Oh Brother! She's My Sister" because BJ and Baby Bop uncharacteristically fight for no reason and the moral is forced.
