You read right. Wario and Waluigi had a third partner! And that was Wapeach, the bad version of Princess Peach. However, it was rejected and was never put in any of the games.

Done? Well, now you have an idea why Wapeach was never in the Mario Tennis games. The first time was shut down before she was even made. The second she had an image drawn, but Shigeru Miyamoto didn't even look at it before turning it down again. Why? Because he thought she was going to be based on a character from one of the Anime that was playing at the time. I'm quite surprised by that, and in a bit of disbelieved. Why would you do that without looking first?! You just saw the image in the video, you heard what she was supposed to be like. If even if didn't work out, at least we could have ideas of what Wapeach could have acted like and how she could be more of a character outside of Wario and Waluigi.
