Updated Info on the Book · 9:47pm Dec 20th, 2012
So, I switched publishing companies because of (reasons), And thus have had to start all over with the "Formatting this thing for publication" process. Since the last company required me to use their proprietary software to design this book, all progress that had been made has been lost.
Shoot.
Ready for the good news? The first book should be ready for distribution (hopefully) by (about) June 2013.
Ready for the Better News? Right now, a black and white paperback is sitting at about $15 USD, with all proceeds going to Operation Homefront to help out veterans in need. They signed a blank check to their nation for an amount up to and including their lives, and it is inexcusable that we should not be willing to do the same for them.
Once I have the formatting and all that nailed down (again) and have more information, I'll be taking Pre-orders for the book. The first (number to be determined) orders will get an autograph, and personalized autographs will be available upon request. Heck, I might even sketch some ponies in there.
But at any rate, the book being published is not just a pipe dream; definitive steps are being taken to make it happen. As far as the total number of books published per edition, how many pages per book, and how many books this story will actually span remains to be seen, but once I have that information I'll be sure to pass it along.
Note: Certain people (Cough Cough) are not going to be permitted to purchase these books, for they have earned a free copy for (reasons). Signed first editions, no less... for whatever that's worth.
Now that that's out of the way, all I have to do now is finish the story!
...
Damn.
Well then, sign me up for a book... I'm still stuck in my own mind's mire for writing my own story atm...

Awesome. As soon as I get something actually accomplished with this one, I'll let you know. So far, the story as it sits right now is 411 pages long, and I expect it to hit 450 by the time I finish formatting what's been written so far, not counting the upcoming chapters.
Whoo.
