    What next?

I don't know if I've mentioned this in a comment or not, but I've finished "They're home." The weekly updates will continue until the end, although I'll be messing around with upload times just to show the story on the "Recently updated" front page to people visiting the site at various times. It should be roughly six more chapters. As for major events and depth of feeling, this one is more about

Blow struck to the parasites of the gaming industry - publishers

In the name of truth and liberty!

I'm proud of PC gamers showing what gaming really is, not just buying proprietary console software and being happy to get a scrap of a good game once in a while. Despite all the automaton sympathizers and bug lovers defending their corporate daddy, we have finally won a battle in the long and losing war of game quality.

    Does anyone play Darktide?

Just curious, does anyone here play Darktide? My group kinda dissolved and it's not as fun when playing solo anymore.

    What started the drone-centric stories

Nothing interesting this time, just two pictures that sparked my idea about hive drones in general. We haven't reached the chill Chrysalis stage yet, but who knows how things will be by book 12 or something. Anyway, the cover I made for They're Everywhere is based on pic 2, but no matter how I tried making pixelart with the right kind of feel for books 2 and 3, it kinda sucked so I stuck to

Good luck, everyone, going into 2024

So, I've been sitting in front of the screen for the good part of fifteen minutes, figuring out what to say for the now usual end of the year recap, and I've got nothing. Much like any time I try to push On Holiday forward, the empty page just laughs at me.

Hospital update · 1:21pm Nov 6th, 2023

Huzzah!
After 6 days, all the large tubes in my neck have today been replaced by small ones.
As a (holes I so fucking hope not premature) celebration, I'll be posting a full chapter 4 of They're Home in a moment.
It'll empty my buffer but I don't care for once.
DRONES FOR EVERYBODY TODAY!

Wow, you gotta admire this writing fighting spirit
Be well.

The other serious question is: is the hospital going to put you into bankruptcy?

I'm sure we could chip in however we can if you ever need the help. Don't be afraid to ask!

Hope you're doing well now!

Good trend, so kudos to modern medicine :)

The past me who actually managed to write up a buffer was truly a champ. Not like the current me who just hurts.

To be completely honest, I don't have enough experience with our Healthcare system, especially long-term care, to guess. Still, my country doesn't have an insane monstrosity like the USA, so the price might turn out to be a non-concern.

Since it's evening here and all the swelling, pressure, and pain always gets worse, probably due to circadian rhythm or something, IT SORT OF REGRETS BEING ALIVE right now.

They kind of fucked up at every step so far, but the second try usually worked. Not like there's an alternative, though. I don't think I can shove any kind of crystal deep enough to realign my chakras.

Btw, decade ago I was at home with quite a pain for a week due to kidney stones & sand slowly going out of me and painkillers helped only for hour and a half x5 times a day so ... I finally did watch a silly cartoons about colorful ponies (my friend insistently recommended me those for some reason I didn't get - why grown man will do that XD) and this helped me a lot to deal with pain - attention switching on something worthy and time flies fast...

If nothing worthy is your to watch list - maybe something like this will do the job:
1)[Anime series] One punch man (season 1).
2)[Anime series] Zone of the Enders: Dolores, I
3)[Anime series] Zom 100
4)[Anime series] Eureka Seven (old one, from year 2005)

Well, that right there is probably already a good step in the right direction. I'm finding that the best way these days to get affordable healthcare (or at least manageable costs for healthcare) is mostly to just not get it in the US. :derpytongue2:
