It says Children's Cartoon on the video, but the Thumbnail sure could have fooled me.
And we start with Misty who has somehow become the mane character of the show for no reason at all.
And she's talking to herself...
Why did she move? What happened to, "I'll be a double agent in order to save the world."
And again we see ponies assuming what she wants instead of asking. It's like watching the same episode again and again. Fluttershy must have procreated so much that she spawned the entire G5 because nopony is capable of learning anything and is instead trying to learn the same lesson over and over again.
"Is that all you have? So, you're poor then? The only reason why we pretended to be your friends was because you lived in a castle and wanted to take advantage of your riches."
"One of us! One of us! One of us!"
Misty is an unsocial sociopath. She should have been left alone in some dungeon.
Misty's only talent is complaining. She didn't like the castle. She didn't like to live with her Father. She doesn't want to live with the Princesses. Worst character ever.
"I hate all the fun." - Yeah, fun is the worst. We should make fun illegal!
"It's okay to be different, Misty. But it's not okay to be retarded like you are."
Why don't they hate Misty? If anpony deserves to be hated it's Misty.
Misty thinks that they left the entire lighthouse to her. And still, she complains. There's just no pleasing her.
Ponies give Misty a bit of space for whole 5 seconds before they all gang up on her again.
I actually watched this one and it is writing like this as to why I view TYT inferior to MYM, well that along with the cut rate animation.
5753512 I think the writing of both TYT and MYM sucks.
I guess it really did take G5 for me to gain a new appreciation for G4.
Let's hope G6 will be better.

For me, as soon as MYM is over, G5 will be over for me. I've tried watching TYT every now and then but it is horribly juvenile and obnoxious. We will have to wait until TYT is over and then a couple of years before we will get G6. Hopefully the animation will be better than TYT and the writing will more closely resemble that of G4. I look at things and I honestly think they could hire people from this site to make better TYT episodes. Just imagine, "Sunny Kisses a Mare and Likes it" That mare? Izzy Moonbow obviously!
5753525 The problem is that the story is shared between TYT and MYM. If you want to get the full story, you're basically forced to watch both.
And yes, this fandom has both better animators and writers than what Hasbro hired.

Oh! That actually plucked a heartstring. It may have been temporary, but this is how a fake out should be presented, in a visual reveal. Words can only do so much compared to what action can do.
I'm surprised they even put up with her. For a while now, Misty is coming across as myself during my grade school years. During that time, classmates ostracized me in some very cruel ways. They usually used me as a punching bag for laughs, but the cast is very lenient of Misty.
5753872 The main issue I have with Misty is that she's completely self-absorbed. She doesn't grow. She's proud of her shortcomings. She's simply a bad person, yet everypony treats her as a hero.
