Reading Order for The Alicorn Adventures

Several people have asked about this, probably because I've written these things out of order. So, here is what I would recommend:

    The Celestia Code
    The Luna Cypher
    The Twilight Enigma
    On the Rocks
    The Quest
    Tales from Twilight Town
    The Cadenza Prophecies
    The Skyla Pseudonym

    Double the Fun!

Ahoy there, Captain! A Twofer Tuesday spotted, broad on the larbord bow!

(The quarterdeck's gettin' a bit crowded, innit?)

Just thought y'all might like to see the gals with their disguises on, and some of the other Nebulas.

Yes, globetrotting Twilight is fun, but she also provides a very useful service.
A sense of scale:

Can you believe the intricacy and detail on that tiny cylinder seal?

What can we say ?
Truly, society employed artisans, having apprenticed for the best part of their lives, for even small things.

Today? Just bung it out of a factory, produced by the lowest paid workers.

And get it designed by AI, so you don't need artists at all! What a world. :facehoof:

I would love a hand-sculpted Twilight Sparkle figurine, but I suppose I'd have to do it myself. (In my copious spare time, of course.) Hmn... bas-relief in white limestone would look good, I think.
There's already one of teen-aged Spike:

Is that cylinder clear wax or some kind of rock? I misread the inscription behind Twilight as lièvre so I thought Are they blind? That is totally a ram, not a hare!. On third or fourth look, I guess it says chèvre. Good enough. Bouk would have better.

Even in the modern day patience and passion can do incredible things.

Yep, I checked the other pictures, and it's chèvre. The Louvre sometimes has funky labelling. They had a broken board of The Royal Game of Ur, or the Game of Twenty Squares, and it was just labeled jeu. Not very helpful.

The seal is made from chalcedony, a quartz / moganite mixture and very hard.

Those are amazing! Thanks for the link. Still, the guy who carved that seal didn't even have a magnifying glass, let alone a microscope! Damned good artist, astounding eyesight!

You're welcome. On a related tangent. If you're interested in people keeping traditional skills alive I also recomend Business Insider's Still Standing playlist.

Amazing work.

I loved the micro reading glasses!
What creature did he commission that from?
