For so long, Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow stood paralyzed in their stone cacoon; unable to move. To speak. To do anything. But that didn't mean they couldn't see or hear everything around them. For age after age.
But now they've been released from their confinement and are free to bask in a changed world. Unfortunately, the trauma of their ordeal doesn't just fade away.

If they weren't insane already. I'm not saying they were, I'm saying it's debatable.

They possibly will go completely insane and take it out on Sunny and her friends and destroy Equestria (or rather what's left of it since in my opinion, Opaline possibly have destroyed most of it in her own rage and terror before being sealed away inside the castle by Twilight). I doubt they'd ever get over being trapped in stone for possibly about a thousand years like Discord was. Even Opaline would have a hard time stopping them if they still wanted to take over Equestria like they would have back then.
