Really disappointed that Luna couldn't survive though..
Spike being the only survivor is amazing actually.
So many lost.. Even if they succeed, it will be a hollow victory.
Hmm… I have several questions, which I hope are answered in the finale.
The fact that Spike is the last creature standing. Not just the last Dragon, but the last creature to be untouched by the darkness, big-ups to Spike for lasting this long.

what does unsaveable exactly mean? does it mean they are forever lost? or does it mean something else?

Yes. They’re not dead (unless they were legitimately killed pre or post-corruption), but they can’t be freed from the darkness. They’re corrupted for all of eternity unless the darkness itself gets defeated or purged (though there will be cases where characters meant to be unsaveable end up breaking out, but that’s usually on their own terms or if they’re horrifically weakened)
