I’m Back + New Soundtracks Available on LunarMusicVEVO! · 9:37pm Aug 9th, 2023
Hello, everypony! I am now officially back from my vacation to Europe! That means it’s back to the old grind for me. I got nothing major to report at the moment aside from mentioning a little operation I’ve pulled off for the last 4 days. None of my projects for the Nightwing-Producer Triple-Feature Event are finished yet as I had way too much fun on the trip and ended up completely neglecting my video after getting to Paris, plus passing out on the airplane from sheer exhaustion on the way back didn’t really help writing either.
Rest assured, things are moving along smoothly again and I won’t get distracted this time. I’m currently eying a new launch date for the event, but I will not reveal it yet because every time I give one, something seems to go horribly wrong. All I will say is that I hope y’all were paying attention to some activity on my other channel: LunarMusicVEVO. The video you see above is an excerpt from the soundtrack for Worthless, specifically the confession scene on the recovery bed, where I decided to reveal Misty’s official theme for this universe. It’s a sad, somber piece with an element of hope that I think encapsulates Misty’s character perfectly and I ripped it from Wonder Woman 1984. Misty currently has a new theme in Redeemed’s OST to represent her development, but that doesn’t mean her theme here won’t play. Specifically during one scene which I will not spoil, this theme actually reprises itself. So you can say that Misty has two letmotifs throughout this saga: the sad WW84 piece (which is her main theme) and Iron Man’s theme from Avengers: Endgame (which is her secondary theme. You’ll understand why I picked this theme in particular once the actual story releases. No spoilers!!).
In an effort to build up hype for Redeemed, I’ve released all the soundtracks from all of my G5 stories! This was a really fun experiment going back through my previous creative processes and putting these tracks together. We got ‘em all in no particular order from I’m Looking Out For You, all the way to Sunny’s Promise. Even my April Fools Sprout story gets an OST. I was originally considering not doing it because that story was meant to be a joke, but then I thought: “Ah, what the heck?” and did it anyway. The only stories that don’t get an OST are The Greatest G5 Mix-Up Story (because it kinda sucks imo due to the low effort I put into it) and Izzy Moonbow In The Multiverse of Randomness (mostly because I didn’t really write it to anything, so no tangible soundtrack exists). You’ll notice that some of these stories like I’m Looking Out For You and Divine Flight have only one track associated with them and that’s mainly because they weren’t very long and not much stuff happens. I mean, the James Horner theme from Titanic pretty much encapsulates ILOFY’s whole story (plus I do strongly ship Hitch and Sunny, so the love theme was completely intentional on my end), and Divine Flight only required one track from Henry Jackman, which made my job so much easier.

Currently, no. As I said previously, you will most likely hear about it once or after Izzy Moonbow: Beyond The Multiverse of Randomness is released. Closing out the G5 Universe and getting the ball rolling on the the Lunar Literary Universe is top priority for me at the moment. I first need to make sure Redeemed sticks the landing for The Misty Saga before worrying about any Elseworlds stuff.

Yes, I do. Unfortunately, that isn’t the direction the trilogy is intended to be headed in providing the original story gets sequels. I do love the plot of the game though.
