    Hiya, lovely peeps!

Welcome to Behind-the-page, the series where I give you background information on my newest release. On today’s spotlight, we have: Relapse!

So, first story on the year on the tail end of April. Suppose I’m going to be a little slow on stories this year as compared to last year. But no matter.

The Absolute Best of Heartstrings - Shelf 1

    Hiya, lovely peeps!

I love the written word. I love books and fanficiton and blogs; I just love reading in general. When I first picked up reading in 2016, I expected stories to be just that - stories. There’s a plot, characters do this and that, reach climax and end plot. I didn’t know that ‘themes’ and ‘depth’ and ‘feels’ were ever in those stories.

I’ve never been glad to more wrong.

Back to school! · 4:32am Aug 7th, 2023

Hiya, lovely peeps!

Exciting news: I'm going back to school!

Ya'll might remember this blog a while back. To cut a long story short - I quit my engineering course at the university because it wasn't working out. I had failed all my modules in Semester 2.

Now, nearly 8 months later, I'm going back to school. This time, I'm studying for a Bacherlor's degree in Business Management at the Open University of Mauritius. It's a part-time course, with classes only on Saturdays, spanning from 08/19 to 11/18.

I've done a lot of growing up since I started my first course in November 2021. In the time since leaving that course, I've had no less that four jobs. I've seen and done and learned so much and finally, finally, I'm in a comfortable place to start another course.

I'm determined to make this work. I'm putting myself through college with my job at Maruitius Post Ltd. I understand the value of money. I'm far more independent that I've been before. I'm ready. I've got this.

Cheers, ya'll, to the coming three years!

Good luck! You only need want it - truly attempt it - and I believe you can make it happen. Success is the only outcome of perseverance, being that it only depends on what you choose to take from the experience.

...or, in less needlessly poetic terms, you'll get from this what you choose to put in!

Thank you both!

I am sure that everything you have learned and experienced during this time will be very useful in your studies and future career. I personally didn't get much out of university. I didn’t want to study and asked to do my assignment, I used https://edubirdie.com/do-my-assignment for this. The Bachelor of Business Management is an excellent choice and classes only on Saturdays will allow you to combine study and work. I didn't have such an opportunity.

Thank you for your kind words and support. And my sincerest apologies it didnʼt work out for you.
