Came with the pedals. If anything, I'll upgrade to the T-LCM pedals in a few paychecks.

Nice, hadn't seen those pedals yet, they look better than the T3PA pro pedals at first glance. I didn't realize Thrustmaster had a real load cell pedal out now.
If your wheel stand doesn't have a mount for the pedals (and possibly even if they do) you're gonna want to build one. If you try to depress a load cell brake on carpet it'll easily push away from you. I'm sure you already figured that though.

It's the Next Level Racing Stand 2.0, and yes it does. Because the T3PA pedals aren't even load cell, and they're sliding on the carpet.
Also, the modding scene for the TH8A is pretty big still. I'd recommend picking up one of these gearbox mods on ebay. Makes shifting feel more like an actual car by providing resistance getting out of neutral. But try it out stock for a bit and see what you think.

As expensive as this was, not sure I'm keen to take it apart. I'm not confident I could get it back together the right way.

It's not too bad, the only part to be careful with is a small cable inside that needs to be detached and reattached after you're done. That cable signals to switch between a regular gearbox and sequential shifting, and if you broke it off (like I did) you just can't use sequential shifting anymore.
