So recently in my search for background ponies in Gen 5, I came across this guy (the one with the blue mane, tan coat and skateboard cutie mark) who is an unnamed background pony.
Therefore, I sir Robipony, have decided to give this stallion a name. Of course, there is a chance that Hasbro will come up with their own name and the fandom will mock me, but... This is a sacrifice that I am willing to make.
Thus I bequeath him the name, Stunt Skater. He is a skateboarder who is popular due to his physique and his skateboard stunt videos.
This is my proclamation. 
Your sacrifice shall be remembered, good sir. O7

This made me notice that purple/pink stallion in the back lacks a cutiemark.
5738680 It seems they do this weird thing where they'll have the cutie mark only on the right side. Not sure if this is a toy thing or not.
Glad to have a fellow person that does support the naming of background characters just like me. ^^
(Of course I'm referring to TalB not believing in that. :/)

5738932 Yeah, I kind of have an idea for a story and this character fit the role pretty well, but they didn't have a name that I could find, so I wanted to give him one and share it with everyone.

Bit late, but G5 does that in general most of the time like they've made the running joke the fandom has made of the toys into how it actually is.
Personally the big thing i wonder from that is if it always appears on one specific side of a G5 pony or if it appears on their dominant side like right/left hooved sorta thing. d:
