Believe it or not, I actually got some chores done today.

And that's saying something, because if Diablo IV was this good at any point last year, it would have definitely been near the top of my Best Games of 2023. You know, instead of being omitted entirely.

So let's just say that Armored Core VI absolutely just got smacked out of the running for Best Yesteryear Game.

    Updates and Such

Well, as a thunderstorm rolls overhead (and hopefully doesn't knock power out), I thought I'd offer some updates on what I've been up to.

Long story short, I'm pretty much in gaming overload at the moment.

Misc. Updates · 1:52am Jul 5th, 2023

Slowly working on the next update to Forgotten: Crystal Princess. Since this is the long-awaited showdown of the alicorns, I want to get it right. Hopefully sometime this week.

Also finally completed Freedom Planet, beating the game with all three characters. This game taught me one thing; I'm not very good at platformers, outside of Sonic. So, the solution to that?

Get the second one. Duh.

On the story front, YAY!

On the Gaming Front, Practice makes Perfect.

Show down of the Alicorns, you say?

God, I can't wait for that to get a Switch release. At least I have Tears of the Kingdom tiding me over.

I would say how funny this is, considering how much of it was inspired by Sonic. In fact, I think Lilac had her origins as a hedgehog fan character. But the first Freedom Planet is moreso a love letter to several old school sidescrollers like Sonic, Gunstar Heroes, and maybe a little Mega Man X.

I'll second that!

Well, Sonic is more just jump and hit them in the right place and right time.

Freedom Planet is a bit more complicated. Jump at the right place, right time, then hit the right attack button.
