(Mostly) Finished my book! · 4:01pm May 21st, 2023
Hey everyone, just making a non mlp related blog. Just really wanted to tell people.
Anyway, yesterday I finished my book (though it's in my docs, so I use the word book loosely), I started it in Junior year and have been working on it off and on for the last few years (with probably too long hiatuses). It is in desperate need of rewrites, polishing, and perhaps criticism. Especially the beginning becuase ive improved so much as a writer. But im just glad i finally managed to finish it, so the ahrd part is out of the way.
I decided to finally finish it since I was so close, which I've been (mostly) doing for the last week or so. Now I just need to start working on my fics again
Ironically, In the Wake of AAM is longer, perhaps because there's an audience for it where as my book is only available to a few friends. Meaning it's been a little neglected since I started writing fics.
Regardless, the book is the first in a series that I plan to write. An epic fantasy, multiworld spanning adventure with a group of heroes fighting the forces of oblivion for the fate of all Creation. Though, the first book is subdued and mostly sets everything up.
I won't paste a link here right now since there's concern that someone will steal the story and try to pass it off as their own (though I'm sure most people won't care), but maybe in the future I will, even if this is a site for mlp fanfiction.
Anyway, no real goal or plan for this blog, I'm just excited and want to tell people.
