Party of One, the twenty fifth episode of Season One was originally aired on April 29, 2011.
In this episode, Pinkie Pie investigates her friends’ excuses for not attending one of her parties.
It also features a song, Pinkie Pie's Singing Telegram, in which Pinkie Pie sings it to Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy as a way of inviting them to her pet alligator Gummy's first birthday party.

- The Treehouse TV airing of this episode mutes out all occurrences of the word "losers."
- This episode was nominated a Leo Award for Best Direction in an Animated Program in 2012.
- This is the first episode to feature Pinkie Pie's popular alter Ego Pinkamena. Although basically just Pinkie with her hair down and crazier than usual, most Bronies and fans like to think of her as a whole different personality to Pinkie. She would not appear again until the Season 3 season finale.
