Disaster Strikes Loyal - Moderators TOO Effecient! · 7:36am Dec 17th, 2012
I hope that beautiful journalistic tagline has caught your fancy. If you're here, you're likely aware of my two most recently posted stories: Act 2 of 'Where Loyalties Lie', and 'From Stalliongrad With Love' (a spin-off comedy about Red Ink). Now, as my previous blog post alludes, I had been intending to have them posted around Christmas. I suppose that for a given definition, now is also around Christmas, but that isn't quite what I had originally meant.
Anyway, because I assumed that the moderators might be busy with family or away from their computers for vacation, I decided to submit the stories for approval a little more than a week in advance. Thus, imagine my surprise when they were both approved over the course of no less than 10 minutes. Well, that left me in a bit of a pinch, due to my promise to provide links to both stories when they went up, so I also posted the 2nd Epilogue to Act 2, even though it IS NOT the final part (there is one more short segment).
So this blog post is mostly just to celebrate the efficiency of the moderators, and to clarify that both the side-story and the 2nd act are up and available. You can look at my 'stories' tab, or find links in the 2nd epilogue of Where Loyalties Lie Act 1 (Honor Guard).
Hope that clarifies my weird timing. Enjoy the new fics.

Mods have been on top of their game lately. My latest story went up within about three minutes of being submitted. Maybe they're just thinking like you and trying to avoid a Christmas backlog?
Honestly, as reader, I welcome such efficiency. Now, I have three chapters to read.
And featured box for the second act achieved! Hell yeah.
Edit: Well, in the mature unchecked featured box, at least at the moment.
Edit 2: And in the mature checked featured box now too, sweeeet.
Hmm. I had actually considered that this might happen. Probably should have mentioned that last night, huh? #hindsight20/20
Also FEATURED. Oh my Odin, we got featured for part 2!
