My parents live in Arkansas which, yes, as I'm sure many of you know just had that massive tornado. My mother works at the VA office down there and the mile long tornado missed her.
By three miles.
That's nothing.
But thankfully they're both okay. Still, that was kind of a scary thing to hear about.
Glad to hear that your folks are okay.
Damn, that's truly frightening. 😰

Brother, I lost my mother last January, and my father four years ago. Yes, it is scary to contemplate losing them. We all know that they will be gone some day, and we dread that day. I tell you now that you must treasure them while you still have them, lest you regret all that you lost by letting the clock run out... Make of that what you will,
Yikes.
Awful stuff happening over there but I'm glad to hear she is ok. Natural disasters are some of the worst because once they start there is little we can do about them but recover.
Good to hear your folks are both ok!
Shit. That is close.
Glad everyone's alright.
oh shit D: glad they're okay
closest I ever got to a tornado was the next town over, solidly ten miles or more away
OMG... that's truly scary. Glad they're okay.
Lucky for them.
