I'm an asshole.
Not too long ago, I was looking through some of my old PMs and I was surprised to see how many requests I'd gotten. In total, I have at least fifteen requests that I need to write. Some of you have made multiple requests. A lot of these requests date back several yaers, all the way back to 2018, at least. Looking through these messages made me realize something: 
I'm an asshole. I would like to humbly apologize to all of you who have made requests but unfortunately never got said requests fulfilled. You guys must have the patience of saints to have put up with this for so many years.
As one commenter noted on a story I posted recently (and by recently, I mean just last night), these are the first few stories that I've published in awhile, and there's a very good reason for that. Basically, these past few years have not been kind to me. Wtih Covid, family members passing away, pets passing away, my younger siblings graduating and helping them get ready for college, attending my older brother's wedding and helping him and my new sister-in-law move in to their new house, my niece being born, celebrating my niece's first birthday, babysitting my niece, helping my mom with the bills and making sure the house is clean, it left me with little to no time to do any writing. 
That, and I've been spending a great deal of time trying to learn how to draw, which has been a very long, slow process. 
Besides which, if I'm being honest, I haven't felt like writing for the past several years. I just haven't had any motivation to write, which is a shame because I have a lot of ideas, not to mention all of the ideas that you guys have given me, ideas for stories that you would like to read. I intend on fulfilling these requests that you guys have given me throughout the year. Hopefully, I can work out some kind of schedule to where I can both write and practice drawing throughout the day. We'll see what happens.

Such is life. But I don't think you're an asshole. With so many things happening in life it's easy to lose motivation. Nothing is more important than personal life and outside world. I know this feeling way too well.
