Hey everybody. Welcome back to the After-Sex Smoke, the only blog you definitely keep up with, right? Right? Anyway, today I have a new story to share with the class, one that’s been in the works for a while and that I only just got around to writing. Today, I’m presenting you Proxy Mommy.
Did you know that Mrs. Shy has less than 50 stories on the site? That’s bananas to me since she’s what I believe to be perfect MILF material. Nice, sweet, will call you dear and honey. Even among my friends, she was never an outright favorite amongst the Mane6 moms. Seeing that she was super underrated was most of the inspiration for this story, and I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of her from me in the future.
Onto the story itself, it had a lot going on. I originally wanted to write a much longer story where over the course of the two weeks his mother was gone, Daybloom would learn that life wasn’t so bad. Feelings would have had more time to develop, and everything would have seemed a bit more natural in tone. I think setting up Daybloom as a loser with no payoff is a little lame, but it also saved me from rambling on about it for 10k words.
Besides, I’ll probably be leaving the emotional journey to another story that I’ve been “working on” for the past… year or something. I’ve been trying to find the best way to send off what I feel to be my best stories, so I’m struggling a little bit. Do not fear, though. For fans of mine, the Dazzling Trilogy will have an end. Eventually.
In more news, I’ve updated my commissions page! Now it looks like it actually has some soul instead of just reading like a corporate email sent by your boss. I spent some time sprucing up my whole page to appear more friendly, so even if you didn’t want to commission, I suggest checking it out! All the artwork was done by me.
So, with that said, we’ve reached the end of another After-Sex Smoke. Even though this isn’t the most popular series, I enjoy writing them. They give me a place to really capture where my head is the moments after I finish a piece and allow me to reminisce on it later. I’ll be keeping it around, just for my own sake. But that’s all I’ve got for you now. Take it hard, and I’ll see you all on the next After-Sex Smoke!
