    Tell Your Tale: P + P = BFFs

This week, we've got a... Somewhat touching Posey episode?

Think this would benefit from a longer runtime. I also laughed harder than necessary at Izzy in the very beginning.

Believe it or not, I actually got some chores done today.

And that's saying something, because if Diablo IV was this good at any point last year, it would have definitely been near the top of my Best Games of 2023. You know, instead of being omitted entirely.

So let's just say that Armored Core VI absolutely just got smacked out of the running for Best Yesteryear Game.

    Updates and Such

Well, as a thunderstorm rolls overhead (and hopefully doesn't knock power out), I thought I'd offer some updates on what I've been up to.

Long story short, I'm pretty much in gaming overload at the moment.

Cooking With Miles: Steak with Mushroom Cream Sauce · 10:58pm Jan 26th, 2023

I got a bunch of recipes from my sister for Xmas, and I got around to trying the first one out tonight:

Steak (eye of round, one of the cheaper cuts), carrots, yukon gold potatoes, and definitely the star of the dish is the mushroom cream sauce with scallion whites, garlic, beef stock concentrate, and sour cream. I'm definitely making more of that, even if I run out of steak.

Fairly slow start to my weight loss, too. Three weeks no soda, and one week into intermittent fasting, which I have stuck to rigidly, and I've only dropped half a pound. I'll blame that mostly on the weather, as my favorite exercise is to briskly walk a mile-and-a-half around the block to music. But this time of year, if it's not rain, it's snow, ice, or frigid temperatures, and they have the habit of hanging around until April or May.

In short, lick my asshole, Mother Nature. You are a worthless, fickle whore.

Hope to get a story update tonight before Dead Space drops tomorrow, because that's probably the last you're going to hear from me for the rest of the weekend, unless you pop into the stream.

Food looks great though! And half a pound is nothing to sneeze at!

But if you're looking for exercise in cold weather, have you considered a local gym/YMCA?

The only weather that stops me from a walk is a really bad storm, deep snow or ice or really extreme temps.

it's like -5 here and I'm effectively wearing a hoodie and fall jacket. If I can stand around in a blizzard for an hour and a half without issue you'll be fine walking.

Mother Nature may be a fickle whore but she's not a pansy when it comes to a slight cold.
