Yeah, I know... This shit takes way too fucking long. Well, I had my reasons...
First thing, I've started my own company and had very little time for anything pony related. Can't write about ponies when I'm out in the world working, that's a given...
Then the pesky virus hit the planet, making life even more troubling. and people got cautious in oh so many ways. Who am I to blame them? Things with my company went a little south due to that but it still was working out. That changed last year, when everything got more expensive and people were beginning to turn every dime 3 times. The company is not sustainable anymore, so I have to end that chapter of my life. I don't take this as a complete loss, though... There were upsides to all of this as well...
But even more troubling, my mother's dementia is now going into full swing the last few years and even on a quiet day things might get nerve-wrecking. I had to do courses to learn to deal with this. Fortunately there ARE courses for that. But once a bad day comes, there is no hope of getting any concentration, neither for ponies nor anything else. At times, I just wanted a lightning strike to hit me and end it all...
On the bright side: I still worked on the story here and there and being the stubborn moron I am, I still have not lost hope on that story. I struggled with some parts, though.
Oh really what the name of your company may I ask and don't worry take your time.

It was a small company barely large enough to make some money. Nothing to that would make a large prestigous name.
Ah I see, well as long as there is some intent to continue it no matter how long it takes seems like a good read to me.
