My main question, and you probably answered in comments elsewhere, is how do you deal with the tediousness that is typing out words? Like, I have tons of story ideas but sitting for minutes let alone hours to put it into a document via keyboard or phone is just mind numbing. I wish I could get ideas out faster. I've even considered speech to text.

So yeah, how do you stay focused?

Havent seen any of it. They definetly seem intent on leaning into marketing towards the younger generation wheres fim seemed more of an all ages type of show. Its unlikely that I'll ever touch the show.

Focus on the intricacies, the challenge, the small nuances, and how much you wish to see the story come to life. Cultivate this desire to write and reward yourself for completing a chapter. Typing can be tedious but if you treat it like a constantly evolving puzzle then you can feel a small amount of releif each time you finish a page/paragraph which is enough to push me along.

As for text to speech. I wouldn't advise it. Your going to spend so much time editing that it wont even be worth it. Plus if you type a bunch you should be able to nearly reach your speaking speed anyway.

On occasion. I'm usually more interested in offering to help in a larger sense, like with flow etc. Not so much grammer or spelling as those things are relatively easy to fix.

So if anyone wants help sprucing up a story, working on an idea/etc then do let me know.
