Dear mares and gentlestallions.
I am enjoying making smut, I am finding it enjoyable. However I feel like I have to get this off my chest to the few people reading this either way.
I think I joined the whole MLP fanfiction thing a bit too late, the show has ended and the fandom definitely hasn’t died but it definitely isn’t what it was. It honestly sucks since I am having fun doing this but I’m just stuck thinking about how (if the fandom dies) this will just die out with it and may be barely noticed in the end.
It’s a stupid thing but getting onto the thing that got me thinking about this: I’ve had an idea for another very long and smutty fic centred around corruption and domination again, I want to do it so do you think I should try doing some of it sooner orshould I get deeper into Lust Drunk or maybe even wait until it’s finished. I am still absolutely gonna do my best to finishing it (there are characters like Cadence I’m really looking forward to doing about) but should I start the other one now or later?

I joined late myself. Just started an account here. Fandoms only die when no one is interested and FiM has made such an impact in people's lives that I do not think it'll die off anytime soon. Don't forget, MLP is old which means it has stayed strong for years since it certainly does sell. FiM just opened the floodgates to adults since they can enjoy it with their kids and relate to the messaging since it can cater to kids and adults, not to mention all the memes and references. Hell, it's an award-winning show!
Sorry for blathering on like that. I'd personally say polish and expand on Lust Drunk since I love changeling stories but it's entirely up to you.
Write what you want. Don't worry about what's hot and popular (unless you are seriously trying to earn some money).
It's somewhat sad to see so many forums go quiet and have less active community, but hey, it is what it is. I say we (the Bronies) are still going relatively strong.
Maybe we'll see some new highs with the future releases.
