Concerning updates on Alicorn of Music · 9:15pm Jan 2nd, 2023
I was asked today if I'm going to update Alicorn of Music anytime soon, and the answer is both yes and no. I went back to that story and realized that I messed up the main character's characterization, and it's not where I want it to be at the moment. I messed some stuff up, but now that some time has passed since I last updated it, I have learned quite a bit more about writing by having read millions of words of various other fanfics.
Long story short, I am updating Alicorn of Music by editing the already existing chapters to be more in line with my vision of the story. I made some mistakes which I'm correcting, so I'd say it would be good for you who read the story to re-read it again when I'm done. I suppose it's a good idea to reread it anyway since it's been almost two years since I updated it last, so I imagine a lot of you forgot what was there in the first place.
I don't think, however, that it will receive any new chapters this month. Maybe I'll be ready to post updates for it in February, but I'm not sure about it at this point in time, as I'm still busy with Salvation | Rebirth, which takes the majority of my focus, and which I actually hope to finish writing by summertime if possible.
You will all be glad to know that I am quite motivated to write more, and I have the energy to actually sit down and spend a decent chunk of my time writing. So, all in all, the future of my stories is looking decently bright.
Glad to know there is still some development going on with this story. Thank you for letting us know. I am looking forward to reading the next part.
