What indeed. As many of you probably guessed, deployment is not an ideal place to write a story. 12 hour work days don't leave much time for writing. Pile on top of that CDC's and my test for 5 Level and things just get worse. What are those you ask? Lemme drop some knowledge on you bro's. When you think enlisted military you probably think all advancement is performance based. Good leader? Here take Staff Sergeant you earned it! *pat on the back* Not the case though. You have to test for EVERYTHING. And they give you these giant books called CDCs full of information to study for said tests that contain little self tests that you MUST complete. And that's what I've been doing. This post isn't all excuses though. Oh no, there's some good news too.

Yes I've got less than a month remaining for I jump on a big ol' plane and head on home. I'll then have considerably more time to work on this little yarn. Just to show that I'm still thinking about the story I'll reveal the title of the next chapter.
