The house is gone (for now).

After much deliberation, I've decided to remove the Death House Arc from the story, for now. Considering it's been getting in the way of what I wanted to write, I will be removing the Death House chapters and edit the Burgomaster Chapter's ending.

That's not to say it is gone completely. I will be saving those chapters for use later, if the flow of the story can work with it. From here on, expect more consistent updates in the near future (provided next year doesn't screw me over).

Honestly, all I want to see in this story is Fluttershy cursing up a storm right at Strahd, pointing out that the land itself seems to be punishing him for the act that made him the monster he is today.

And Strahd, just flabbergasted at someone who seemed so gentle and calm suddenly snapping at him, which finally makes him see the truth in the words.

(My justification being that Strahd compared Fluttershy's kindness to that of Irene, thus making this seem, to him, like Irene herself is making these claims.)
