    What Voice Actor?

Would play the role of Gojira? I have been wracking my brain trying to think of a good voice actor/actor that would play the role, but I can't think of the right one. At first it was obvious, the voice of Joel Miller from The Last of Us or Hugh Jackman from Logan, as those are the two he's largely based on. But those voices don't instill an aged power from a grizzled titan. So then I thought

The Original Chapter 4 to Call of Titans

This was going to be the initial interaction between Gojira and Godzilla in Call of Titans during a sequence in chapter four, but after a lot of pondering, and suggestions from y'all, I came to the conclusion that this was simply not how I wanted to depict Gojira. He's not a tyrant, after all... At least not by design. The new version that will come out sometime this weekend will be collaborative

    Sad to see the Inactivity

It's a bummer to see that a lot of the folks I used to interact with on a regular basis haven't been online for a hella long time. But hey, we all fall out of fandoms. Just kinda sad.

Call of Titans: What does Gojira look like?

Thanks to some criticism on how Gojira would initially look, I drew his design to better depict that he's a weathered, grizzled stallion that, even with a slouched posture, winds up being taller than the Princesses of Equestria.

What Voice Actor? · 2:38am Dec 6th, 2022

So then I thought Christopher Judge (Kratos) or Idris Elba. No Christopher Judge is too obvious and Idris Elba already plays as Stacker Pentecost, a canon character to the Amalgam'verse. Sam Elliot? No, too much cowboy in the voice. Benedict Cumberbatch? Nah, his voice acting lends better to villainous characters that specialize in a sly tone. Matt Mercer? No, his voices don't carry much age to them. Maybe James Earl Jones? Definitely not, he brings a sense of nobility to his voices (yes, Vader included), and Gojira isn't exactly a noble character, same case with Peter Cullen. I want to avoid actors with voices that are too distinct like Morgan Freeman.

Who do you guys think would play Gojira in an animated scenario?

Liam Neeson? He kind of has that "old soldier who is done with everyone's crap" voice that I've kind of always imagined for Gojira

I could definitely see it. Though a bit on the nose for the character. Maybe if Gojira had the calm intensity it could work, but his voice I always imagined was a bit more robust.

Oh that's good... I like that

At first I was thinking Sean Connery. Cuz we know he can pull off the whole Shakespearean language with ease. And I'm positive someone as talented as he was could hit the pitch you wanted extremely well. But sadly he is no longer with us. But imagine it would have been amazing. So I guess my pic would be Keith David. He played the voice for Goliath and Gargoyles. And Spawn in the Animated Series.
