Soon BookTime™ Will be Upon Y'all [IMPORTANT] · 10:48pm Nov 12th, 2022
After many delays and struggles with formatting cover art and other book-related tribulations, my first book of horse stories will soon be something y'all can buy with your real, human money! I've just ordered the test copy, so I can agonizingly take whatever red ink (it'll actually be black or blue, I don't like red pens) needs to be put to the pages before the final version is done. This means it'll likely be something you can get before the holidays. Should there be anyone in your life that you really want to torment, buying a copy of my book sure is going to be one of the things of all time that you can inflict upon that poor soul.
Or, you can buy the book and read it for yourself. But first, you're probably wondering what you should know about the book.
Well, here is your little list:
- There are two black-and-white internal illustrations, one of which is exclusive to the book.
- The book will contain twenty-three stories, none of which will be higher than a teen rating.
- This means the book will be something you could feasibly gift a middle schooler (this is probably a bad idea) and I've listed the content as ideally being suited for ages 10+ on the copyright and disclaimer page.
- I won't have the book public on Lulu. You'll have to PM me for a link.
- When the final version of the book is done, I will have an info blog post with information on how to get the link and a full list of stories.
- The story tagged is one of the stories included in the book. I've linked three more below to offer a bit of a sneak peek.
- The cover art is not publicly posted yet since the book isn't available for readers quite yet... but I will say that I think I got a pretty nice cover for y'all to see.
- It's by JowyBean.
- That's all I'll say about that.
- Oh, and the book is a case wrap by default. A paperback option might be available, but right now that isn't the case.
- The price is just under $17 without taxes or shipping, which is cheaper than most new hardcover books from major bookstores, but about the price of a paperback -- at least in USD. I don't have to look at the barcode of that many books I've got in my dorm to see that Canadians practically have to saw off fingers to get a few books with how some of the prices go up.
- I will make $0.00 off of these so if you want to give me money, honestly, please don't. It really isn't necessary.
Other stories you will be able to legally purchase with authentic human currency:
I question the sanity of whoever buys over three hundred pages of my writing. Oh, and I don't plan for the next books (yes, there were always plans for more) to take this long unless it's for the editing. That's really what this all comes down to now that I have the formatting and cover art shenanigans down.
IT'S ALMOST TIME
Ooh, congratulations! Drop another blog when they become available.
oooh, jowybean cover :D

Thankies. And will do! Hopefully editing and readying the next few books won’t take years of work on and off like this one did.

Heck yeah! Honestly, figuring out the covers for each book is the best part.
Oh heck yeah, an excuse to read more of your writing. I've always had a horrible time reading online because the internet is right there and way too clickable, but a physical book? I prefer and need more of those.

I am also a dead-tree enjoyer. (I need to build more bookshelves.)
