Hey, everypony. Long time no see, I'm a girl now, yadda yadda.
Did anypony else get an e-mail recently saying that some of their works had been moved to Archive of Our Own? I ended up making a new account so I could finish the archival process, but I was a little thrown by it. Is there somewhere I can read up on why this was done, and how the Archivist decided on which stories would be added? Is FiMFiction shutting down? How much time do I have before all of my favorite fics get flushed down the drain?! I still have so many fics I meant to read!!! 
Okay, maybe I'm over-panicking. I'll have to find some time this weekend to move the fics they missed over, and maybe over the next few weeks I can actually freaking finish Mother and Child so I can be happy with its condition over on AO3. But right now, I've got six fics over there:
You know what it is? These are actually the six specific fics I had over on the OTHER fanfic website. False alarm!
Anyway, stay tuned. I may just move the rest of my fics over there anyway, just for the heck of it, since AO3 is the big fanfic site nowadays.

Yeah, that's what happened. IIRC, the Pony Fiction Archive closed its doors to new submissions sometime in 2021, then began migrating its contents over to AO3 starting last April (hence the email — welcome back, by the way!). I'm not entirely familiar with that site and its past goings-on, though, so feel free to ask somebody more in the know than me for more information if you need it.
